Love Letter to CCPC
10/3/2023 Hello and Good Morning Fam! Since our last update, Seung has received his 8th round of treatment and another set of scans. A praise report is that his CEA numbers are trending down even still (we're at 612 now!) and his scans show that treatment is working. Some of the mets in his lungs have disappeared, his lymph nodes look clean and we are now seeing some healthy tissue in his liver. Seung is gaining weight and continues to have a healthy appetite. All of these positive changes are in line with what we wanted to see, and yet we find ourselves hesitant to feel joy. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop... for the chemo to stop working or for Seung to suddenly not feel well. But we are wrestling with our anxiety and trying to pursue gratitude. We are so thankful for all of you and your prayers. God is truly moving and answering the prayers that are being lifted up on our behalf.
